ShootLive to be used at the Football League Awards

ShootLive, the real-time photography system, will be used to give exclusive behind-the-scenes and in-studio coverage of The Football League Awards at London's Grosvenor House on Sunday 4th March 2007.

Photographers will provide live coverage from the event with the ShootLive system. The system will deliver pictures from Grosvenor House to the operations centre in less than 20 seconds from camera click.

Images will be edited there using the system and will be available for use on websites a minute after the event. High resolution images will be pulled back and delivered to the newspaper client base around 5 minutes from the picture being taken.

All ShootLive photography taken at the Awards will be distributed free of charge to national and regional print media, football websites and official Football League club websites.

Martin Ellis, Editorial Sales Manager said, "We're delighted to be the official photographer for The Football League Awards for the second year running. In using ShootLive, we can ensure that newspapers receive pictures of this fantastic event in almost real-time, further raising the profile of the awards for The Football League."

The second annual Football League Awards recognise the best of the League's 72 clubs, from players to fans to the dedicated club servants who work so hard behind the scenes. There will be 19 award categories in total, including a range of football awards and industry specific honours.
