Real-time FA Premier League coverage from every game this season
PA Photos has launched GameOn, its innovative real-time mobile service for fans of the FA Premier League. The service has already been licensed to Orange, O2, Arsenal FC, Teletext and FourFourTwo Magazine, who can offer fans a weekly subscription to enjoy rich multimedia coverage of each and every match on their mobiles.
"For the avid fan it's a powerful service", commented David Williams, PA Photos' Business Development Director. "A picture of a goal being scored can be on a subscriber's mobile phone screen in around a minute. Seconds later, the phone refreshes to show the player celebrating, and then again to show fans' reaction."
The service is delivered using the innovative ShootLive process combining the world-class photography of PA Photos together with the live match data of sister company, PA Sport, the official data provider for the FA Premier League. The result is real-time commentary, statistics and in-game pictures from the sports ground of every FA Premier League fixture.
"We can offer a comprehensive picture service, to fans and media organisations", said Stuart Nicol, Group Picture Editor at PA Photos. "Photographers will cover all 380 matches, and by using ShootLive, high resolution images can be delivered within two minutes of the picture being taken, either to a fan's mobile phone, to newspapers via the PA wire service, or to the online, picture library, where picture buyers can also access our archive picture."
An unrivalled and extensive football archive is also accessible online including a comprehensive library of players and teams, past and present, and pictures from previous FA Premier League seasons.
