Medical imagery partnership with Pulse Picture Library

PA Photos has confirmed a deal to represent Pulse Picture Library's medical images in the UK and Ireland. The agreement strengthens the editorial stock collections that PA Photos launched this year.

Pulse specialises in model released contemporary images of UK General Practice and their staff at work, using up-to-date equipment and accurate techniques. The collection also includes a range of medical conditions, specialist clinics, and baby and child development tests, pharmacy and medicines.

Discussing the partnership, Sam Spruce, PA Photos' sales and marketing director said,

"We asked customers for feedback when we launched the editorial stock collections and there was a demand for medical stock. We recognised the Pulse Picture Library as specialists in this field, with a unique library of true to life images, because they photograph GPs at work with patients in the UK. We're looking forward to offering this content to customers."

A selection of pictures are online at paphotos.com, with more to be added on a monthly basis. Group Picture Editor, Marie-Louise Collard said,

"Our pictures reflect modern general practice in the UK today. They have to be accurate and up-to-date as they pass the scrutiny of the profession when they first appear in Pulse magazine. We constantly update our content to reflect current health issues and clinical conditions that GPs see on a daily basis."

This is the second representation agreement PA Photos has agreed with a publisher in the last year. It follows the partnership with Haymarket Publishing to represent the photography from sports magazine, 442.
