Mary Egan appointed as UK Sales Manager
Mary Egan, former Vice President of Sales at BBC Worldwide Canada Ltd, has been appointed as UK Sales Manager at PA Photos.
In this role, Mary will be responsible for identifying and maximising opportunities to grow sales in the UK market, matching an understanding of customer needs with first class photography and the best possible service. She will report to Sales & Marketing Director, Sam Spruce, who will take the lead in further developing PA Photos' position internationally.
Mary has a wealth of experience in sales, syndication, copyright issues and multimedia, having spent many years working for BBC Worldwide in the UK and internationally. Starting her career within the Clearances and Business Affairs Department, BBC Enterprises, Mary moved up the ranks to Vice President for Sales at BBC Worldwide Canada Ltd in 2002, overseeing the whole of the BBC's Programme Sales and Motion Gallery activities throughout Canada. In October 2005, Mary left the BBC to take a sabbatical to travel through Asia, Australasia and Africa before immigrating back to the UK and taking up this position at PA Photos.
