100 years of photography in the new PA Photos print store

PA Photos is proud to announce the launch of its new online personal print store. Whether you want an image for your home or as a gift, you’re sure to find the perfect picture here. At prints.paphotos.com, customers can order photo reprints from the fantastic Press Association archive, which charts 100 years of life in the UK.

Visitors can browse the galleries to find photos of key moments in UK news, sport and showbiz history, as well as stunning artistic imagery and award winning images from PA’s talented photographers.

Marketing Manager, Jenny Teasdale described the collection:

“Just a quick browse of the galleries highlights some incredible pictures that are part of the UK’s cultural history – VE Day in 1945, the Queen’s coronation in 1953, the 1966 World Cup. There are also the more unusual pictures – a couple enjoying the bathing huts at a British seaside resort in 1910, the hustle and bustle of Billingsgate fish market in 1969, and the World beard and moustache championships from last year! And of course, if you’re after a picture of your favourite sports or showbiz personality, we’ve got that too, as well as beautiful landscape and animal images.”

The online store has an easy ordering system, taking customers through choosing a format for the print and previewing it, before completing the online secure payment and delivery steps. Prints can be delivered in just 3 days within the UK and Ireland.

The prints come in a range of sizes and formats, including framed and canvas print options, ranging from as little as £5 up to £60 for a large size print and frame. For something a little different, many photos can also be applied to mouse mats, mugs and T-shirts!

Assistant managing director, Martin Stephens said:

“The Press Association archive is unrivalled in its coverage of UK events and social history and it’s wonderful to now offer such fascinating and iconic images to everyone as prints for the home. Visitors to the site will find over 4000 images on offer, with more pictures added each week. As the national agency, we have photographers covering events around the UK and Ireland every day, so if there’s a PA image published in a newspaper or magazine, which isn’t in the online print store, we’re happy to find it for our customers.”
